woodcarving Candlesticks are a magic miracle of living fire in your hands. In the western regions of Ukraine, the laity used for solemn ceremonial purposes the so-called triplet candlesticks similar to Tricaria. They were made mostly of wood of deciduous trees, namely of linden. Candlesticks combine three types of carvings: flat, plastic, relief. In Hutsulshchyna and Pokuttia, the use of three-candleholders was kept the longest. Therefore, it was in these areas that researchers found the largest wooden trinity candlesticks.
